might not be written down on
paper, but you’ve got it stored
in your head somewhere. But,
rather than sticking to the
status quo of well-known spots,
maybe it’s time to cast your eyes
towards the waves less ridden.

We asked four super
knowledgeable photographers
from various corners of the
planet about some of their
favourite spots that aren’t
exactly ‘go to’ locations. These
are the spots that don’t have
a place in the ‘world’s most
famous waves’ lists, but they
