Let’s try an experiment. We say, “Kayaking in Zimbabwe.”

You say, “Zambezi,” right? Well, yes, but Zimbabwe

has much more whitewater to offer than the

famous Zambezi Gorge. In April 2017, a group of

Czech kayakers met up with Dewet Michau, a

South African paddler and the co-owner of

Kayak South Africa to explore the steep

creeks and boulder-strewn rivers of

Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands.
