This year’s Australian
Trials Championships
will incorporate the FIM
Oceania trials titles,
making it an
international event.
Menglers Hill in the
Barossa Valley will host
the event from 30
September-1 October.

Australia and New Zealand will do battle once again with the resurrection of the Oceania
Motocross Championships. While the event is only aimed at Junior riders, it will provide
fans with the chance to revel in the Trans-Tasman rivalry. The FIM Oceania Junior
Motocross Challenge will be held in Horsham, Vic, in conjunction with the Australian
JuniorMotocrossChampionshipsstarting30September.NewZealandwillgetachanceto
host the event next year.

(^) From August 1, Kiwi clubs are no longer able to apply for free, one-event racing licenses
for club days. All riders who do not hold a MNZ licence will be required to purchase a
One-Event Licence or obtain a full MNZ racing licence for the event. Training days,
have-a-go days and practice days are exempt.

preparing for Kamfari and
Finke 2018. Before that, ADB
will be taking part in the
Sporties 12-Hour at the Alice

WESTERN AUSTRALIA
(^) Jayden Rykers took out all the MX1 and MX2 races at round four of the WA Senior State
Championship. Despite Rykers’ clean sweep, Dean Porter still leads MX1 while David Birch
isthefront-runnerinMX2.
(^) Max Vlasich won the Capel Enduro, round four of the WA State Enduro Championship.
Vlasich beat Darren Rudling and Ben Lawton for the Overall and Expert Two victories.
Bronwyn Aplin took out the women’s class.
