Hattah Desert Race, with seven of
the top 10 positions. KTM’s Daniel
Milner, Daniel Sanders and Lyndon
Snodgrass made an all-Vic podium,
while protégé Callum Norton
fi nished fourth. Lachlan Terry,
Nathan Trigg and John Murtagh
were the other Victorians.
(^) The Myrtleford Alpine Rally has
been forced to fi nd a new venue
after being shut out by green tape.
The event is still going ahead on
23 September and ADB will be there.
TASMANIA
(^) Brodie Ellis beat Robert Knee and Jordan
Lovick in the Senior Open A class at round
four of the state motocross
championships. Held at Cambridge, the
event saw Ellis also take the Lites win over
Knee and Chris Hall.
(^) Round four of the Coastal Motocross Club
Championships were held in early July and
it was Jordan Lovick taking the victory
over Justin Airey in the Pro Open class.
QUEENSLAND
(^) Luke Weaver won the Senior Open
Class at the fourth round of the
CQMX Championships at Clermont.
Ryan Eden won the Lites, while Nicole
Kennytookoutthewomen’sclass.
(^) Ricky Lane won the Richmond River
Run in June. Scott Gofton and Dudley
Duffy also fi nished on the podium in
the Ironman class.
NEW SOUTH WALES
(^) Rhys Budd and Tanesha Harnett (below) secured titles at the fi nal round
of the NSW Junior MX Championships. The BCP Pro Circuit Honda riders won
theA-Grade250ccJuniorandgirls’classesrespectively.LakeMacquarie
was the venue.
(^) Motorcycling NSW has opted not to run its Night of Champions
presentation this year. It has been decided to spend the money on
improving and developing motorcycle sport.
