TRAILRIDE I KINGAROY TWO-DAY, QLD

Deep ruts in the sandy creek bed were tricky

Without rain in the lead up it would have been dusty

The Kingaroy Trailride caters for all ages and abilities Motocross bikes allowed

It’s great to see more and more kids
coming along each year, it’s a real
family weekend, they love it.
“It’s not just about the mad bike
riders, there is something for every
level and ability of riding.”
Kingaroy was a real team effort to
put on, the Kingaroy Lions Club
organised the event this year as their
major fundraiser with help from the
Wooroolin Lions, Nanango Lions,
Kingaroy Quota Club, QCWA,
Kumbia Kindergarten, St Johns
Ambos and the SES.
The burgers were fantastic, with the
crew cooking up pretty much all their
supplies. Next year the Lions plan to
crank up the pizza oven, fingers
crossed.

Next Year?
The Kingaroy Lions Club Trailride
has already released the dates for
the same event next year. It’s
moved the event back to the last
week in May and will run on 26
and 27 May, 2018. So put in your
leave request now and get out
there for some sandy fun!
