INGREDIENTS
1 lemon grass teabag
2 tbsp gin
150 ml tonic water
1 tbsp simple syrup
Ice cubes
2 stalks lemon grass
Cucumber slices, to garnish
METHOD
- Place the teabag in a pitcher.
Add the gin and leave to steep
to the desired strength. - Pour into 2 glasses and add
tonic water, syrup and ice. - Stir with lemon grass, stalks,
leaving them in the glasses to
garnish. Add cucumber.

Watermelon, basil
& vodka cocktail
MAKES 2
INGREDIENTS
4 cups cubed watermelon
¼ cup sugar
Ice cubes
½ cup water
¼ cup vodka
¼ cup basil
1 lime, juice
METHOD
- Blend watermelon, sugar and
2–3 ice cubes till smooth. Strain,
discarding the pulp and seeds. - Mix water, vodka, basil and
lime juice. Pour into 2 glasses. - Add ice and watermelon juice;
stir. Garnish with watermelon.
Rosemary &
berry margarita
MAKES 2
INGREDIENTS
2 cups water
1 cup mixed berries,
some sliced
¼ cup tequila
2 limes, juice
1 egg white
2 tbsp sugar
Crushed ice
2 sprigs rosemary
METHOD
- Combine the water, berries,
tequila, lime juice, egg white,
sugar and ice. Stir until the
sugar is dissolved. - Pour into 2 glasses. Stir with
the rosemary sprigs, leaving
