‘I’VE MADE A MISTAKE’

Khloé, 33 – who is three months along –

‘conceived naturally’, confirms a source.

But amid her ‘tears of joy’, is the reality

star sad for what might’ve been? After all,

when she first talked about a baby, Khloé

was still married to Lamar Odom – the

man she called her ‘soulmate’. ‘I will

never, ever not love Lamar,’ she confessed

following their 2013 split. ‘He was my

husband, and I still wish he was, and I don’t

think there’s anything wrong with that.’

Khloé and Lamar, 37, both longed for a baby,

but struggled to make it happen. ‘Lamar and

I wanted to conceive, we wanted to adopt, but

also to foster kids,’ says KoKo. They eventually

began fertility treatments, but shortly after,

she made the decision to stop. ‘There was

much deeper stuff that was happening in our

marriage,’ she explains. ‘I knew it wasn’t the

right situation to bring a child into.’

The four-year union was plagued by Lamar’s

drug use and infidelity. ‘I was in a dark place,’

he explains. Yet Khloé struggled to finalise their

divorce until December last year, revealing,

‘If I had my way, I’d still be married to Lamar.’

Lamar has since been to rehab and is doing

well, but KoKo’s baby news has been painful

for him, too. ‘The pregnancy has been a

reminder to Lamar about his regrets in life...

as well as the many mistakes he made while

married to Khloé,’ says a source. ‘Lamar still

loves her dearly. In his mind, she will always

be his wife and he is crushed he is not the one

building a family with Khloé.’

While Khloé admits the idea of having kids

with basketball star Tristan – who shares son

Prince, 10 months, with his ex Jordan Craig

• is ‘scary’, she insists she’s ready. ‘He’s a lovely
  man,’ her BFF Malika Haqq says of her beau.
  ‘If [Khloé’s] happy, I’m happy.’ But is she?

with the Kardashians on October

14, she’s been reliving her

marriage to Lamar. The ‘most

traumatic’ moment, Khloé says,

was receiving a fake text telling

her he’d died after his 2015

overdose. While the two weren’t

together at the time, ‘It was too

many emotions,’ she confesses.
