Angelina’s new film First They Killed My Father shines
a light on Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge regime that
slaughtered the country’s citizens in the 1970s.
However, according to published reports, the
actress-turned-humanitarian unknowingly
did business with a former Khmer Rouge
general accused of genocide. An intermediary
working on Ange’s behalf bought a piece
of land, where she now keeps a home, from
alleged mass murderer Ta Tith in 2002.
The star – who created the Maddox Jolie-Pitt
Foundation, which aims to create peace and
stability in Cambodia and is named for her adopted
son – had no idea who the land belonged to.

ISSUES
They may have one of the most famous
fathers in the world, but Brad’s six kids
seem to be confused – they’ve been
sprung calling their bodyguard ‘Dad’!
‘Angie’s caught twins Vivienne and Knox
saying “Hey, Dad!” a few times, same
with the older kids,’ tells an insider.
‘Friends have overheard it, too.’ With the
security staffer said to be making dinner,
helping with homework and playing
soccer with them, you’d understand why
the kids might need a gentle reminder
who their real father is. But Ange won’t
do it! ‘The weirdest part is, she didn’t
correct them,’ adds the insider.
