GIVE TIRED ITEMS A MODERN MAKEOVER THAT REALLY POPS WITH

A CRACKLED FINISH FROM DULUX® DURAMAX® DECORATIVE COLOURS

STEP 1 Before you start you will need

the following items to complete the project:

• 1 can of Dulux Duramax Undercoat • 1 can
  of Dulux Duramax High Performance Enamel in
  Endless Dusk • 1 can of Dulux Duramax Crackle
  Effect White • 1 can of Dulux Duramax Clear
  Coat Semi Gloss • Damp cloth • Drop sheet

STEP 2 To get the best crackle result,

make sure your surface is clean, dry and free

from grease, rust and dirt. Protect adjoining

surfaces from overspray. Undercoat with Dulux

Duramax Undercoat to achieve the brightest

finish. Spray with 1–2 coats of Dulux Duramax

Endless Dusk, allowing to dry after each coat.

STEP 3 Apply Dulux Duramax Crackle

Effect in a single coat. DO NOT use multiple

mist coats. Hold can upright 15 to 25cm from

the surface. Spray with smooth, even strokes

parallel to the surface. Wait for 3–5 minutes

for the crackle effect to start forming. Allow

to dry for at least two hours before applying

a protective clear coat to finish.
