Adding to Lisa Marie’s problems are new claims that she’s

at war with her mum Priscilla, who’s currently guardian of twin

granddaughters Harper and Finley, eight.

During a recent outing with her rumoured ex-boyfriend

Nigel Lythgoe, Priscilla was overheard complaining loudly

about Lisa Marie’s issues – openly criticising her daughter

and describing their relationship as ‘worse than ever’.

‘She hates me, and the [children] say: “We saw Mumma

drinking, stumbling,” ’ Priscilla was heard revealing.

It is believes the family matriarch has sensationally

sided with Lisa Marie’s

ex Michael amid their

bitter divorce battle,

with Priscilla reportedly

saying her daughter

was ‘paranoid’.

It‘s no wonder Lisa’s mysterious bump has everyone

talking – the mum-of-four proudly flaunted her pregnancy

bod in a series of stylish fitted outfits while carrying her

twins Finley and Harper in 2008 (above). But with her

marriage on the rocks, it seems the star is

reluctant to confirm the news – or who

the daddy might be!

Adding to the mum-of-four’s

woes is the looming 40-year

anniversary of her father Elvis

Presley’s tragic death, with

New Idea recently reporting

the milestone is hitting Lisa

Marie ‘very hard’.

‘It’s been 40 years since

her father died, and Lisa Marie

just feels like things have gone

from bad to worse for her,’ says

a close friend. ‘She feels a little

cursed, like he was.’

With her failed music career,

financial woes and a string

of scandals to her name,

motherhood is the only shining

light in the star’s otherwise

bleak life, pals say.

‘The only good thing she’s

done in her life is have four

amazing children – Benjamin,

Riley, Finley and Harper,’

says a friend.

Describing herself as

a ‘very scary, intense lioness

mother’, Lisa Marie says she

takes the responsibility of

parenthood very seriously.

‘I’m very, very protective,

number one,’ she says. ‘Also,

[I] want to be their friend

and protect them, but also get

them to learn how to live in

the world that we’re living in.’

But while she is currently

crashing at her 28-year-old

daughter Riley’s LA home, Lisa

Marie’s younger daughters

Harper and Finley are currently

under the guardianship of her

mum Priscilla, with whom she

has reportedly had a falling out.

While having lunch in LA

recently, the 72-year-old

grandmother was overheard

complaining loudly about

Lisa Marie’s issues – openly

criticising her daughter and

describing their relationship

as ‘worse than ever’.

‘There’s nothing we can

do to help her... it’s scary,’

Priscilla reportedly said. ‘She’s

having such a hard time in life

because she has no friends. And

she thought success would be

handed to her.’

While she has previously

admitted her ‘hope is that [my

dad] would be very proud of me’,
