retrained as a teacher

at the age of 60, Philippe
Dumas has appeared in

Instagram followers.
The stylish Parisian
turned to modelling
after the advertising
company he once worked
for went bust.
‘At the age of 60, it
wasn’t really easy to find a
new job in the advertising
business, since it’s a very
young environment,’
Philippe told Today Style.
The now 61-year-old
fashionista, who’d always
dreamt of being a model,was regularly stopped in the
street by young people who
complimented him on what
he was wearing. Sometimes
they even took pictures.
After he lost his job in the
advertising industry, Philippe
posted some photographs of
himself on Reddit, asking if
others thought he had what
it takes to model.
‘I’m 20 and wish I looked
like you,’ one user wrote.
‘Serious 10/10,’ another
person replied.
Philippe works out five
times a week, took up ballet at
55, and watches what he eats.
‘Style is more important
than beauty,’ he said. ‘You can
