‘I’ve always been one to stand out from
the rest. I have my own style and look. I get
many compliments, which are very humbling.
‘From Facebook to Instagram, I receive
messages that I’m an inspiration! Do you
know how that feels? I think to myself:
“Wow! I’m just me! A simple nice guy from
Staten Island.” ’
Despite his happy demeanour, Anthony
has experienced much sadness in his life.
‘I was bullied, ridiculed, humiliated and
pushed around throughout my school years,’
he told the NOH8 campaign.
After coming out in his 30s, Anthony
found happiness with partner Billy Hinson,
and they married in 2008. But tragically,
Billy passed away in an accident just weeks
after the wedding.^
‘He was not only my husband, he was
my first boyfriend, first love, my teacher,
my best friend, my soul mate,’ Anthony says.^
However, time is starting to heal
Anthony’s broken heart.
‘The accident turned my life upside down.
I believed it was impossible to love again.^
In time, I found that I could love again,’ he
told the magazine.With his rippling six-pack, thick lustrous hair
and boyish good looks, it’s hard to believe
