  1. Brodie Puleo showed he has mastered the
art of patina with his pre-loved Monogram
’40 Ford pickup. The subtlety of the shading
and texture on this model was inspiring.

  2. Brodie Puleo proved the importance
    of clean construction techniques and
    appropriate wheel choices for his
Monogram ’48 F1 pickup. Brodie produces
stunning paint jobs whether they are shiny
    or rusty!

  3. you don’t often see this model built,
but Lilly Watkins put her own spin on the
MPC Barnabas Vampire Van with a wet-look
    metalflake black paint job.
    15. For me, the most memorable of all of
Ken Searle’s artistic dioramas is his rusty
Tudor resting in a typical Aussie backyard.
Hard to believe that Ken could scratchbuild
that lemon tree, including tying all the
lemons, with the use of only one arm!
    16. Revell ’49 Mercury woody took out
Modeller’s Choice for Brodie Puleo. The
    nicely proportioned teardrop camper is
    scratchbuilt to match.
    17. In WA, Tony Somers is renowned for
    his off-the-wall customs. He transformed
    a squashed Ghostbusters ’59 Cadillac
    ambulance into this finned warrior.
