FLOWER TOWER
Lift the view closer
to eye height by
using tall cylindrical
planters – go red if
you dare! To fill up the
base, use bricks or an
upturned planter, then
sit a pot of bloomers
on top – here impatiens
and marigolds, with
draping stems of vinca.

QUICK SILVER
When you’re
combining lots of
shockingly bright
flower colours, silver
foliage can provide
a good foil. Try
lamb’s ear (shown
here) or look for
silver plectranthus
or helichrysum.
