TRY THESE

Pierre de Ronsard
This vigorous climber with cream-and-
pink blooms, bright green leaves and
a light scent will suit a wall or fence.

Grimaldi
Robust with a delicate fragrance,
this continuous bloomer looks
terrific mass-planted. Splashed with
salmon and streaks of pink, the
flowers are long-lasting in the vase.

Gold Bunny
Add sunshine with this bold yellow
rose, which has bush and climbing
forms. The repeat-flowering
climber reaches 3m in height.

Chartreuse de Parme
For big colour and strong perfume, this
bush rose is hard to beat. With double
blooms in look-at-me purple, it makes
an eye-catching border standard.

Crepuscule
The sweet scent of this almost thornless
climber makes it a favourite with
gardeners. Grow over a pergola to enjoy
its apricot yellow blooms for months.

Princess of Wales
This bush rose was named for the
people’s princess. To commemorate
Diana’s visit, Flemington created a
garden with her white rose. It’s great
for mass-planting and landscaping. ■
