Warm memories of Diana

+In the early ’80s one of the mags had

a knitting pattern of a jumper Diana wor

I knitted them for me and my daughters

Since then I’ve been fortunate enough to

visit Althorp House; it was an experience

I will never forget. The atmosphere

around the lake where Diana is buried

was amazing. Everyone was very quiet

and reverent. It’s a very peaceful spot,

and brought a tear to my eye to think

how she died so young.

I was also fortunate enough to meet

her brother and he signed a b k

I bought there. It was wonde

to see all the memorabilia of

Diana in the stables, and lots

of the dresses Diana wore.

I remembered her fondly,

along with many thousands

around the world, on the

anniversary of her death.

Love ‘you’ inside

Feeling restless

+ I can relate to Shelley Craft’s

experience (Issue 94). When I married

a navy man, we moved 11 times in the

first five years. While I considered it

a nuisance at the time, I did learn to

pack well, and to downsize regularly.

While I don’t move so often now, I do

get the urge to shift every year or so,

but I compromise by rearranging the

furniture and having a major spring

clean. It quells the urge – ’til next year!
