started the 2017 season as
a full-blown privateer in his
father’s Sprinter van is now
a member of the Rockstar
Energy Husqvarna Fac-
tory Racing team with a deal
already in place for next year.
He’s also been getting back
up on National podiums for
the fi rst time in six years,
back when he was on his
way to the 2011 Lucas Oil Pro
Motocross 250 Class Cham-
pionship. Wilson fi nished
third at Southwick in the 450
Class and then backed it
up with a second overall at
Spring Creek. Deano’s got
one step to go to get back to
where he was before a series
of injuries nearly wiped out
