race one of the pre-73sidecars,but it expired in race two. The
YamahaXS-basedoutfitbehavedwell on the Sunday, taking
themto twosecondplacesin the pre-73up to 750ccclass.

sidecars. Discoveredduring sidecar ‘taxi’ rides,Brown is
learningfast and ‘Slow Phil’ mayhave to re-thinkhisnickname!

CCCharles Daviesand Geoff Mills fought hardoverthe win in the first 1963-72 250
aaace. The twoDucatiswereevenly matched and afterlosing the leadto Millson lap
hhhree, Daviesre-took the leadon the last lap to winbyhalfasecond.Millstook his
eeevengeinthe last race, winningfrom Davies by 0.3 of asecond.
