The body builders posted fairly low-key results overall,
with Volgren leading the pack on 21, that fi gure being
well down on its 47 reported in August. Bustech had a
strong results with seven, up from fi ve the month before.
The majority of other builders delivered less than fi ve
vehicles respectively.

September 2017 saw 53 buses delivered throughout Australia. This is a world away from
August, during which 110 new bus deliveries were reported by manufacturers, representing a
decrease of 57 vehicles. The September delivery number does not stack up very well compared
to the 88 new buses delivered at the same time last year.

For air-conditioning suppliers, Thermo King led the
way with 28 deliveries nationwide, a sharp drop on the
huge 68 a month earlier but still leading the market
by a considerable margin. Spheros was involved in the
delivery of seven units, while Hispacold and Konvekta
posted five each.
