DINNER EN BLANC
November 4
Launched in Paris in 1988 by François
Pasquier and a handful of friends, Le
Dîner en Blanc has become a worldwide
epicurean phenomenon. Diners dressed
head to toe in white will gather at meeting
points around the city before being taken
by foot, bus or train to a secret venue.
Last year’s Brisbane event was held in the
botanic gardens. Adding to the mystery,
no trace is left behind. At the end of the
evening, people pack up their tables,
belongings and rubbish, then leave the
area as it was when they arrived. For more
info on Dîner en Blanc events from around
the world, visit brisbane.dinerenblanc.com
