SLEEVE UNDERARM MOTIF
Sew together motifs at underarm at
picotsand 5 ch sps, attaching half the
ends of row 1 to underarm of jacket
and the other half to each other to
form top of sleeve seam.
Work motif as instructions given for
1st Motif for Fronts and Back until
round 3 is complete, then attach to
underarm space of Sleeve at row 2
on round 4 as for Fronts and Back,
making 3 ch, 1 dc 3 ch to and from
all picots, and 2 ch, 1 dc, 2 ch to and
from all 5 ch sps, sl st to 1st dc.
Fasten off.

CUFF EDGINGS
Using 4.00mm hook and with right
side facing, join yarn at seam.
Round 1: 4 dc into 5 ch sp on Cuff
Motif, 1 dc into next picot, 2 dc into 3
ch sp, 1 dc in next dc (3 dc into 5 ch
sp, 1 dc in next dc) twice, 2 dc into 3
ch sp, 1 dc into next picot, 2 dc into
3 ch sp, 1 dc into next dc, (3 dc into
5 ch sp, 1 dc in next dc) twice, 2 dc
in 3 ch sp, 1 dc into picot, sl st to first
dc. Do not turn.
Round 2: 1 ch, 1 dc into same place,
* miss 1 st, 5 tr in next st, miss 1 st,
1 dc into next st, rept from * to end,
omitting last dc, sl st into first dc.
Fasten off.

FRONT EDGINGS
Using 4.00mm hook with RS facing,
rejoin yarn at bottom picot on Right
Front edge.

Row 1: 1 ch, 1 dc into picot, * 2 dc
into 3 ch sp, 1 dc in next dc, (2 dc
into 5 ch sp, 1 dc in next dc) twice, 2
dc in 3 ch sp, 1 dc into picot *.
Rept from * to * finishing at top of
Right Front before neck shaping, 2
dc into same corner picot, 2 dc into
3 ch sp, 1 dc into next dc, 2 dc into
5 ch sp, 1 dc into next dc 2 dc into
next 5 ch sp, 2 dc into 3 ch at corner
insert of Right Front Neck Shaping, 1
dc into dtr, 2 dc into 3 ch of corner
insert, (2 dc into 5 ch sp, 1 dc into
next dc) twice, 2 dc into 3 ch sp, 1
dc into picot, rept from * to * 1 (2,
3) times more, 2 dc into 3 ch sp, 1
dc into next dc, 2 dc into 5 ch sp, 1
dc in next dc, 2 dc into 5 ch sp, 2 dc
into 3 ch of corner insert, 1 dc in dtr,
2 dc into 3 ch of corner insert, (2 dc
into 5 ch sp, 1 dc in next dc) twice,
2 dc into 3 ch sp, 3 dc all into corner
picot, rept from * to * to bottom of
Left Front, make 2 dc into same
corner picot, rept from * to * along
bottom of jacket to Right Front corner,
making 2 more dc into same picot. Do
not turn.
Row 2: Work scallops as instructions
given for cuffs to top of Right Front,
finishing with 1 dc into first of 3
corner dc, work buttonloop as follows:-
5 (8, 11) ch, sl st into next dc, 1 dc
into next dc.
Continue making scallops until top of
Left Front is reached, finishing with
1 dc into 1st of 3 corner dc, make 1
scallop of 5 tr into 2nd dc, 1 dc into
3rd dc.
Continue making scallops down left
front and along lower edges until
bottom right front is reached, making
1 scallop into 2nd corner dc of
bottom Left Front and finishing with
1 scallop in corner dc of bottom Right
Front, sl st to first dc.
Fasten off.

MAKING UP
Sew on button. Make a button loop on
neck edge of right front to correspond.
