GETTING STARTED
Small Bowl pictured in C1 (6756
Regal) and C2 (0827 Teal)
Medium Bowl pictured in C1 (0830

WORKING PATTERN
BOWL
Using set of 3.75mm double-pointed
needles and C1, cast on 80 (120-
170) sts and divide as evenly as
possible between 3 needles. Join to
work in rounds, taking care not to twist
cast-on edge.
Work in stocking st (every round knit)
until Bowl measures 7 (10-14) cm
from beg.
Change to C2 for rem.
Cont until Bowl measures 13 (18-26)
cm from beg.


Shape Base
Round 1: K2tog, K6 (10-15), rep
from
to end. 70 (110-160) sts.
Work 3 rounds.
Round 5: K2tog, K5 (9-14), rep
from
to end. 60 (100-150) sts.
Work 3 rounds.


Round 9: * K2tog, K4 (8-13), rep
from * to end. 50 (90-140) sts.
Cont dec in this manner (working one
st less between dec) in every foll 4th
round 0 (1-2) times, then in every foll
alt round until 20 sts rem.
Work 1 round.
Next round: (K2tog) 10 times. 10 sts.
Break off yarn, thread end through rem
sts, draw up and fasten off securely.

MAKING UP
Do not press. Sew in ends.
Felt thoroughly using either machine

or hand method. While still damp,
block to shape by placing over
a suitably sized bowl to dry (if
desired, fabric can be stretched
slightly at this stage). Your finished
bowl will vary according to the
shape of bowl used for drying (see
picture).
