Row 2:(1dc, 1ch) in first tr, * 1ch,

miss 1ch, 1tr in each of next 9 sts,

rep from * to turning ch lp, 1ch, 1tr

in 2nd ch of turning ch lp. 9 (10-11)

patts.

Work rows 2 to 6 incl as for Back of

Top.

Row 8:(1dc, 1ch) in first tr, 1tr in

each of next 15 sts, Dec, 1tr in each

st to last 18 sts, Dec, 1tr in each st to

end. 91 (101-111) sts.

Row 9:(1dc, 1ch) in first tr, 1tr in

each st to end.

Rep last 2 rows until 73 (85-97) sts

rem, then rep 8th row only until 57

(65-73) sts rem. Fasten off.

MAKING UP

Do not press. Using a flat seam, join

sideseams. With right side facing,

using 4mm hook and working over

round elastic in 1st, 3rd and 5th

rounds, work 5 rounds dc around

waist edge. Fasten off. Draw up elastic

to fit and stitch securely.

Cast off 2 sts beg next 3 WS rows.

Cast off loosely the rem 16 (17, 18,

20, 21, 22) sts for shoulder.

Next Row: RS – Return to rem sts,

slip next 23 (23, 25, 25, 27, 29) sts

to holder for centre back neck, rejoin
