SLEEVES (BOTH ALIKE)
Using 3.25 mm needles and B, cast
on 30 (32, 34, 36, 38) sts.
Noting that first row is a WS row, work
in garter st for 7 rows, finishing on a
WS row.
Change to 4.00mm needles.
Join in C.
Starting with a K row, now work in
stocking st throughout as follows:-
Using C, work 4 rows, inc 1 st at each
end of next (next, next, next, 3rd) and
following 1 (1, 1, 0, 0) alt row. 34

Using B, work 4 rows, inc 1 st at each
end of next (next, next, next, 3rd) and
following 1 (1, 1, 0, 0) alt row. 38
(40, 42, 40, 42) sts
Last 8 rows form striped st st.
Continue in striped st st as now set
and inc 1 st at each end of next (next,
next, next, 3rd) and following 6 (3, 0,
0, 0) alt rows, then on 1 (5, 9, 12,
11) following 4th rows, then on 0 (0,
0, 0, 2) following 6th rows. 54 (58,
62, 66, 70) sts.
Work 3 (9, 7, 11, 9) rows, ending
after 4 rows using C and finishing on
a WS row.
Break off yarn C and continue in st st
using B only as follows:-Work 6 (0, 4, 0, 6) rows, finishing on a
wrong side row. (Sleeve should measure
approx 12 (15, 19, 23, 27) cm,
