MEASUREMENTS
Bag 25 x 20cm after felting
Flower 10cm after felting


TENSION
Before felting: 7.5 stitches and 9.5
rows over stocking stitch using 15mm
needles to 10 cm


GETTING STARTED
Note: please be aware the knitted
pieces (before felting) will be much
larger than the finished size.

WORKING PATTERN
BACK AND FLAP
Using 15.00mm needles, cast on 20
sts.
Beg with a Knit row, work in st st
throughout as follows:-
Inc 1 st at each end of 2nd and foll 3
rows, then on foll 2 alt rows. 32 sts.
Work 15 rows, ending with a WS row.
Dec 1 st at each end of next and 3
foll 4th rows. 24 sts.**
Work 3 rows, ending with a WS row.
Place markers at both ends of last row.

Shape flap
Work 6 rows, ending with a WS row.
Dec 1 st at each end of next and foll
6th row, then on foll 4th row, then on
foll alt row, then on foll 3 rows, ending
with a WS row.
Cast off rem 10 sts.

FRONT
Work as given for back to **.
Work 2 rows, ending with an RS row.
Next Row: WS knit.
Next Row: knit.
Cast off knit wise.

MAKING UP
Sew back to front, matching cast-
off edge of front to markers along
