Using 9.00mm needles, cast on 20 sts.
Row 1: RS - *K1, P1, rep from
* to end.
Row 2: as row 1.
These 2 rows form rib.
Work in rib for a further 2 rows,
ending with a WS row.
Change to 10.00mm needles.
Row 5: RS - K3, inc once in each of
Next 4 sts, K13. 24 sts.

Now work in patt as follows:-
Row 1: WS - P10, K3, P8, K3.
Row 2: K3, C4B, C4F, K13.
Row 3: as row 1.

Row 4: knit.
These 4 rows form patt.
Cont in patt for a further 29 rows,
ending with a WS row.
Shape thumb hole
Next Row: RS - patt 15 sts, cast off
Next 3 sts, K to end.

Next Row: P6, turn and cast on 3 sts,
turn and patt to end.
Work in patt for a further 7 rows,
ending with a RS row.
Next Row: WS P10, K3, [P2tog] 4
times, K3.
Cast off rem 20 sts. Sew side seam.
