WRIST WARMERS
Note: You can work these wrist
warmers either on DPNS the usual
way or on a long circ needles in
the Magic Loop way. It is for you to
choose which you best prefer.

DPNS cast on:
With size 4.00mm straight needles
cast on 40(48, 56)sts.
Work 1 row double rib and then
distribute sts evenly over three size
4.00mm DPNS with 14(16, 18)sts on
each needle.
Close the loop to start knitting in the
round, which means that beg and
end of row is where first and last
sts meet.

Magic Loop cast on:
Cast on 40(48, 56) sts on the size
4.00mm (80cm) circ needle.
Work one row double rib and then
close the loop and knit in the round,
following instructions on Magic Loop
knitting on http://www.youtube.com.

Make sure that all sts are hanging

down in the same direction, so edge is

not twisted.

Work tight double rib.

See that yarn is held tightly when

knitting from one needle to the

next, so tension on sts remain even

throughout row.

After 6 cm in the round work 10 rows

back and forth to form opening for

thumb.

Go back working in the round.

When work measures 34(36, 38)cm,

cast off loosely so edge stays elastic.

Knit one more wrist warmer.

MAKING UP

Fasten off all loose ends. Wrist

warmers are ready.

CABLED SCARF

With size 4.00mm needles and two

strands of DK yarn cast on 19 sts.

Work 6 rows moss st.

On next row start following instructions

for cabled pattern,

Row 1: Work *3 moss st, P2, K9, P2,

3 moss st.

Row 2: Work 3 moss st, K2, P9, K2,

3 moss st.

Rep from * 5 times. Total of 10 rows.

Row 11: **Work 3 moss st, P2, put

next 5 sts on CN in front of work, K4,

K5 from CN, P2, 3 moss st.

Row 12: work as row 2

Row 13 to 28 ** work as Row 1 and

2 eight times. 16 rows.

Row 29 and 30: work as Row 11

and 12

Rep rows 13 – 29 from ** 13 times

Work row 11-12 once more and rows

1-2 five times. 10 rows

Work 6 rows moss st

Cast off.

MAKING UP

Fasten off all loose ends.
