WORKING PATTERN
THROW
Using 6.00mm circular Needle, cast on
182 sts.
Note: Work in rows not rounds.
Knit 7 rows garter st (first row is
wrong side).


Beg Main Pattern
Row 1: RS Knit.
Row 2: K6, purl to last 6 sts, K6.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for main pattern
until work measures 127cm from beg,
ending with a Row 1.
Knit 7 rows garter st.
Cast off loosely knitways.


MAKING UP
Do not press. Using wool sewing
needle, sew in all loose ends.

FRINGE
Make 58 fringes by the following
method.
Wind yarn round a piece of
cardboard 15 cm long and cut
along one edge.
Take 4 strands of the cut yarn for
each fringe, fold yarn strands in half
and draw the looped end through
work wrong side to right side of
throw, then draw loose ends through
the looped end and pull tightly, this
will form a knot on right side. Repeat
these steps, evenly placing 29 fringes
across the cast-on edge and 29

fringes across the cast-off edge of
throw. Trim ends of fringes as desired
to even up ends.

DESIGN OPTION
Adapt the size of this Throw to make
a Baby Throw or Knee Rug 65cm x
65cm using 6 x 50g balls brushed.
Using 6mm needles cast on 91 sts.
Follow instructions for throw above
until work measures 65cm.
