GETTING STARTED
Pattern
Increasing row: yo, k to end.
(Beginning a row with a yo creates a
large decorative loop at the edge)
Wrapping row: k1, k 2 tog, yo three
times. Repeat from
to last 3 sts, k3.
Dropping row: k to end of row,
dropping the extra loops of previous
row.
Decreasing row: yo, k2tog twice, k
to end.


WORKING PATTERN
THE SCARF
Cast on 2 sts.
Work increasing rows until there are
18 sts on the needle.
Work 1 wrapping row, then 1
dropping row.
Work 8 increasing rows (yo, k to end),
then repeat 1 wrapping row and 1
dropping row.
These rows can be repeated until you
have 36 sts (or desired width).


For main body of scarf
K 8 rows, work 1 wrapping row and
1 dropping row. These 10 rows form
the body pattern.
Repeat until scarf measures 60 cm or
desired length.
Work 8 decreasing rows, 1 wrapping


row and 1 dropping row.
Continue to work the end in this way
until the last 2 sts remain. Cast off.
