GETTING STARTED
Note: Prepare fringe first – wrap
yarn around 24cm wide piece of
cardboard 90 times and cut along
one edge, making sure you have
a total of 90 lengths of yarn. Set
aside for attaching to Scarf after
completing knitting.
WORKING PATTERN
SCARF
Using 20.00mm needles and 2
strands of yarn together, cast on 15
sts loosely.
Note:To keep edges neat, join new
balls of yarn 3 sts in from edge.
Row 1:Knit.
Row 2:Purl.
Last 2 rows form stocking st.
Continue in stocking st until Scarf
measures approx 190cm from
beginning, or near end of last ball,
leaving approx 2 metres for casting
off, ending with a purl row.
Cast off loosely.
MAKING UP
Do not press. Sew in ends through
knitting(not along edge). Using yarn
set aside for fringe, fold 3 strands in
half then use crochet hook to draw
loop through first stitch at end of
Scarf. Draw ends through loop and pull
to tighten. Repeat in every stitch along
both ends of Scarf. Trim evenly.
