WORKING PATTERN
Using 3.25mm needles cast on 105
(110,115) stitches.
Row 1: *K3, P2 repeat from * to end
of row.
Row 2: *K2, P3 repeat from * to end
of row.
These 2 rows form Chunky rib pattern.
Work 5cm Chunky rib pattern ending
with a 2nd row.
Change to 4.00mm needles and
stocking stitch until work measures 8
(10,12) cm from end of rib ending
with a purl row. Decrease 5 (0, 5)
stitches evenly in this row. 100 (110,
110) sts.

Shape Crown
Medium and Large sizes only
*K9, K2tog repeat from * to end of
row 100sts.
Purl one row.

All sizes 100sts
Row 1: *K8, K2tog repeat from * to
end of row. 90sts.
Next and every alternate row: Purl.
Row 3: *K7, K2tog rep from * to end.
80sts.
Row 5: * K6, K2tog rep from * to end.
70sts.
Row 7: *K5, K2tog rep from * to end.
60sts.
Row 9: *K4, K2tog rep from * to end.
50sts.

MAKING UP
Break off yarn leaving a tail. Use a
wool needle to thread tail of yarn
through remaining stitches.
Draw up tightly and fasten securely.
