MAKING UP
Break yarn, leaving longer end,
threadend through rem sts, draw

up very carefully (ensure not
to break yarn) and rep threading
through once or twice more,
then secure end.

Join back seam.

WORKING PATTERN
Using 9mm needles cast on 35 stitches.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: * K1,yo, K2 tog, repeat from *
to end of row
These 2 rows form pattern.
Work in pattern until work meas 80cm
from beginning ending with Row 1.
Cast off. Sew in ends.

MAKING UP
Using a flat seam join cast off edge to
cast on edge.
Note: the seam will be on an oblique
angle across cowl.
Before wearing, grasp each end of the
cowl and stretch, twisting at the same
time. This will relax the knit and the
cowl will drape beautifully.
