If you’re looking for a golf break far away from
the madding crowds, this is the place for you.
On arrival, the first thing you’ll notice are the
panoramic views of the Cotswolds, Severn
Valley, Welsh Mountains and the Malvern
hills. It’s a promising start... and it gets better.
Set in 163 acres of undulating parkland,
both the hotel and par-72 course have
undergone a comprehensive and costly
two-year renovation project that has elevated
them to new levels.
A hefty slice of the course work involved
the bunkers, which have all been re-worked
and, in some cases, re-located. As a result,
they now look and play a treat and overall

UNDER £200 Tewkesbury Park, Gloucestershire

the course is in great condition and offers
plenty of challenging holes. There are several
notable water features and plenty of grand
old trees, especially ancient oak, to avoid.
The course is very well established and the
greens in particular are a joy to putt on. You
can warm-up for the challenge by taking full
advantage of practice facilities that include a
driving range, a six-hole par-3 course and a
putting green.
The hotel itself is smart and impressive
and you’re guaranteed a warm welcome by
friendly staff at every turn; it’s a family-run
business and the emphasis is firmly placed
on good customer service.

There are nine luxury historic suites that
offer fantastic views of the golf course and
rolling hills.
There are a further 85 rooms which have
also been renovated while leisure facilities
include a gym, two spa rooms, steam room,
sauna and swimming pool.
The Orangery restaurant delivers a
fantastic breakfast and dinner while
lunch can be taken in the new bar area or
clubhouse serving snacks and meals.
