GETTING THERE
The resort is just 40 minutes from Murcia
airport – it's only a small airport but so
convenient for La Manga Club – and an hour
away from the larger Alicante airport. EasyJet
and Ryanair both operate regular services to
Murcia as do British Airways between April
and the end of October. The flight time is
about two hours 40 minutes.
WORTH KNOWING
OThere’s plenty of excellent golf to be
experienced outside La Manga Club, with
several courses within comfortable driving
distance. You can hit the Nicklaus Trail – a
collection of courses, including Hacienda
Riquelme, created by the Golden Bear – and
Seve’s Peraleja.
OFor something completely different but
nothing to do with Monty Python, you can
check out the largest, open-air, mud therapy
area in Europe, located at the top of the Mar
Menor in Las Charcas de las Salinas.
