ake Garda is one of the most
beautiful parts of Europe, so an
opportunity to play golf in this
classy corner of Italy should not be ignored.
That’s been the case for well over a
century at Bogliaco, the third oldest golf
course in the country which dating back to
just before the Great War.
Originally a six holer, further
developments have recently taken place to
the wonderfully undulating 18 holes with
land being purchased and several holes
being re-worked. The picturesque short 4th,
with its sensational lake views, is the feature
hole, though the tree-lined holes are
arguably the more difficult.
