You can craft acrossbowbycombining three
sticks, two string,anironingot and atripwire
hook,orbuythemfromfl etchervillagers.
Pillagershavearound aone in 12 chance
ofdroppinga crossbowwhenthey’re killed.
There’s alsoa 50%chanceoffi nding one asloot
ina pillager outpost chest.

Crossbows take longertoloadthanbows, but are
morepowerfuland accurate. The leastdamage
theydois six points, andthe mostis 11. Drawing
back an arrowwillslowyou down, butunlike
with bowsyou’ll returntofull speed oncethe
crossbowis fully drawn andcan releaseit atany
point after. It’s possibletodrawa crossbowthen
deselectit while it’s loaded, soyou can instantly
fi reit whenyou swapit intoyour main hand.
