JUNGLE TEMPLES
Mostjungle s have at least one
temple in them, andthey’re often
hard to fi nd because of the thick
cover in the forest. But inside,
you’ll fi nd treasures worth risking
your life for!
Jungle temples have three
fl oors, and are mostly built
out of cobblestone and mossy
cobblestone. A pu zzle inside
leads to two chests, butyou
have to get pastseveral traps
before you can open them.
The chests may contain
useful in gots and diamonds,
as well as bamboo,saddles,
emeralds, enchanted books
and horse armour.
Jungle temples areone of the few
places where mechanisms generate. As
well as a huge amount of rare moss
stone, each jungle temple provides
you with a free sour ce of redstone
dust (15 pieces), tripwire hooks (4),
chiselled stone br icks (3), levers (3 ),
sticky pistons (3), dispensers(2) and
redstone repeaters (1).
SURVIVING THE JUNGLE
Getting in and outof a jungle temple
safely is tricky, butit can be done. Make
sure you have a pa ir of shears handy!
■Enter the temple from the roof and
head down to the lowest fl oor.
■At the bottom of the stairs, check
whether the levers are on your
left or right.
■If the levers are on the left,
hit them in this order: right, left,
left, right.
■If the levers are on the right,
hit them in the opposite order:
left, right, right, left.
■This will open a secret door ,
revealing the fi rst chest.
■Keep going, looking ou t
for tripwires. You can use
shears to safely disarm them.
■At the endof the hall,
you’ll fi nd asecond chest
with a tripwire directly in
front of it.
■Remember, you can also
empty the dispensers for
free arrows!
