Minecraft World Magazine – November 2019

(Dana P.) #1
CAN YOU BUILD THIS?
FINISHING TOUCHES
Fenceoffyour way in, butleavegates so
you can hopthe fencefromanydirection.
Treehouses areoften hard to get in and out
of, so don’t allow your only entranceto get
obstructed bymobs.
Any good base should contain everything
you needto stay alive withoutleaving
the safe confines, andthat means aready
source of foodis essential. All you have to
dois transport dirt upoffthe ground, hoeit
into farmland andmake sure there’s awater
support to keepit moist.
Rememberto sealoffthe bedroom.
Unlike someother types of base, you can
leavetreehouses mostly open, which makes
themgoodlookoutposts andexcellent
places to defendfrom, butdon’t leave
your bedoutin the open. You may notbe
able to sleep, or could even getattackedin
the night!

Use a ladder or
vines to get in
and out

Connect up two

trees with walkways

Add more rooms andlevels to your
treehouse. Seehow large you can make the
structure withoutattaching it to the ground.
Growmore trees if you have to!
Why not add asecret entrancebybuilding
an artifi cially large tree trunk, thenhidinga
ladderinsideit?
Can you add automated defences to your
treehouse, so mobs can’tevencome near
without being killed, whether you’re around
to defendit or not?
