BUILD A HOLIDAY PARK

CHALETS

The essenceof any holiday park arethe
chalets, whereyou can stay in a small, one-
or two-roombuilding independent of any
otherguests. Mostholiday parks group
their chalets in small rowsor patterns.
They’re always close together, andthey’re
always very similar in size and décor, if
not identical!
Westarted ourchalets by building a small
roombig enough to contain abed, chest
andcrafting table, aswell as somelighting.
Anindependent doorto the outside and
a windowto look outof areboth must-
includes –after all, this isn’t a hotel we’re
putting together here!

When you’re decorating the interior of
the room, keep it fairly simple. We’ve gone
with strippedbarkfor the fl oor, somered
carpet to act as adoormat,a nice pair of
green beds for extra sleeping space, and a
singlepainting on the wall. Storage chest
andcrafting facilities are provided, while a
lanterngives the light.
Having built one chalet, the next step is
to build afew more identical ones. To save
space andresources, we’ve connected them
together in a long row. You don’t have to do
this – after all, guests might get annoyed of
the noise next door– butthis isone way to
approachit.
At the moment, the chalets look pretty plain
fromthe outside, butwe’ll jazz themup later.
