RESORT

RESTAURANT

No-one wants to cook for themselves on
holiday, so having some kind of eating
facility on-site is a defi nite requirement.
Rath er than copy the chalets, we’ve made
our restaurant large and standalone, with
huge windows gazing out over the water
and surrounding landscape for some truly
relaxed eating!
What ac tually goes inside the restaurant
is up to you, but we’ve included a bar
for serving drinks and food, with a table
and benches for sitting at. We’ve made
our restaurant small (or rather, cosy!),
but if you’ve got mo re chalets make sure
there’s room for mo re than a coupleof
people inside!

Decorating the restaurant is quite tough,
but here are some tips. Building it out
of red br icks makes it look modern and
trendy, rather than something you’d see
built an ywhere else in Minecraft. Glazed
terracotta will produce ajazzy fl oor
pattern. And some paintings will give
the space ahint of class. We’ve also put
some jungle trapdoors in front of some
bookshelves to make the wall look like it’s
full of bottles.
A fun way to add some activity to your
holiday pa rk is to add anNPCbartender ,
so spawn a villager behind the bar and
then – if you’re in Creative mode –place
some barrier blocks so he can’t get ou t
(you can use a console command
“/give @p barrier 64” to put them in your
inventory). We also added a villager to be
a diner at the restaurant!
