ender has been a trailblazer in the art of guitar
and amplifier craft for over seven decades, but
until recently, the most famous guitar company
in the world was relatively quiet when it came
to pedal offerings. That was until NAMM 2018, when
it revealed the first batch of its all-new stompbox
range, releasing a varied line that was designed in
California with the help of musicians, producers and
industry stalwarts alike. This calendar year has seen
the pedal wizards at Fender reveal six new offerings

    Tremolo and Lost Highway Phaser.
You can read our in-depth review on p116, but

reverb settings, two of which are rooted in the 60s,
with a ’63 and ’65 setting respectively. The third
option comes in the form of a plate reverb, delivering
a smoother and more spacious studio-style sound.
Finally, the Lost Highway Phaser is an all-analogue
four- and eight-stage phaser, adding simple and
luscious modulation to your ’board in a small form
factor. Included are rate and depth controls, a slow/
fast switch plus a toggle that switches between sine
and triangle waveforms, adding even more depth to
your tonal options. All three are made with Fender’s
sleek, anodised-aluminium enclosure and feature
LEDs on each knob, to ensure you know exactly
