Caravan World – May 2019

(Chris Devlin) #1
STEP 11
Black plastic plunger removed from its housing and retaining clip that is
attached to the tow vehicle's under carriage. Always return the plunger
back into the housing as it should only be released for testing. NB. You
need to ensure the clip is attached to the tow vehicle's undercarriage
and not the towbar tongue.

STEP 13
Replace the plunger back into the housing. Ensure it's pushed in all the
way and you're ready to tow.

STEP 10
A close up of the plunger still in its housing. It requires a firm grip to
remove the plunger, so don’t hold back.

STEP 12
With the plunger released from its housing, check the caravan/trailer
brake lights to ensure they are working as shown in this image.
