Bill’sfather,John,flewfighterplanes
inWorldWarIIandwasa pioneerofthe
NewZealandhelicopterindustry,found-
inghisNelson-basedcompanyHelicop-
tersNZinthe1950s.It wasstilloperating
whenBillandwifeRobynsetuptheir
ownbusiness,NelsonHelicopters,in
