wait at a red traffic signal before being

allowed to continue through the signal, if it

is safe to do so, should the light remain red

for a longer period. This policy is to allow

a motorcyclist to proceed legally despite a

red signal if the light should be triggered

by other waiting vehicles but does not

sense a waiting motorcycle.

The weight factor that carbon fibre is to steel. In other words,

a 20 kg steel motorcycle frame would weigh only 4 kg

Yamaha used to tune an organ he built in 1887. Yamaha

specialized solely in musical instruments until 1955,

when Yamaha Motor Company Ltd. was established and

the company began building motorcycles.

The number of years that

the full-face helmet has

been around. Bell

invented the full-face

helmet in 1971, when the American

helmet maker expanded into the

motorcycle helmet market. Bell was

founded in 1954 and produced only

auto-racing helmets before the company

expanded its product line.
