LIGHT THE SCENE


Click Environment


in the 3D panel then


go to the Properties


panel, click the icon


next to IBL and choose


Replace Texture. Load in


one of the IBL fles you


downloaded during step


8, then use the Move


tool to drag its position,


noting how the light


catches the edges of


the object as you do so.

RENDER AND TONE


Make any tweaks


you like to the view the


lighting or the object


position, then click the


Render icon in the 3D


Panel. It’ll probably take


a few hours to render.


Once it’s done, hit Cmd/


Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E to


merge into a new layer,


then go to Filter >


Camera Raw Filter and


make fnal tonal tweaks.

ADD A BACKDROP


Make a new layer.


Go to 3D > New Mesh


From Layer>Postcard.


Merge the layer down.


In the 3D panel, add


a Plastic Acrylic Black


material, then bring


the material opacity


to 100%. Once done,


use the coordinates in


the Properties panel to


fatten the postcard with


X: 90, Y: 0, Z: 0 again.
