One of those little-used tools
that can be very handy for
certain tasks, this lets you rotate
the view (not the canvas). As
any painter will know, your hand
moves more naturally in vertical
movements than horizontal
directions, so a rotated view
can be very useful when you’re
painting with a pen and tablet.

TOP TIP
Like many other tools the Rotate tool is ‘spring loaded’, which means you can hold its
shortcut key (R) to temporarily switch to it, then release to go back to your previous tool.
