TECHNICAL LAYOUT
AMG’s ubiquitous 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 is housed longitudinally at the nose of the
C63. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a new nine-speed multi-clutch transmission
and through an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Suspension is by
way of multi-link arrangements front and rear, and adaptive dampers are standard.
Our scales weighed the Mercedes at 1770kg, split 55%/45% front to rear.
