From the outset Adam wanted
to preserve as much of the original
paint and signwriting as possible.
The body needed some accident
and rust damage sorting, with a
new short panel and corner and
replacement D pillar and new paint
was carefully blended in and rubbed
back in areas to match in with the
rest of the now sun-bleached Turkis
paint. The barely legible signwriting
was also touched up, again keeping
that faded, ageing look. The whole
exterior was then treated to liberal
coats of wax (a future plan is
to investigate ceramic coating).
Underneath is a contrasting surprise
however...the shell was mounted
on a roll cage and the whole
underneath treated to a clean up and
