Here are six masculine cards to help celebrate Father’s Day. Why not
appropriate them for other male cards throughout the year too?

METHOD


1 Stamp Woodgrain Background on ivory card 130mm x 95mm
with baked brown sugar ink.
2 Stamp Geometric ‘Love you so’ with baked brown sugar ink
and Teeny Tiny Sentiments ‘happy fathers’ day’ with black ink
as shown.
3 Wrap linen thread around baked brown sugar card
45mm x 95mm, punch a 1¼in circle out of the right-hand
side, then back it with black card and secure it in the lower

third of the woodgrain panel.
4 Layer this on black card, leaving a 2mm border, then on
folded baked brown sugar card 300mm x 105mm.
5 Stamp Life in the Forrest trees on Designer Series Subtles
pear pizzazz and wild wasabi patterned papers with black ink,
then fussy-cut them.
6 Stamp Life in the Forrest toadstool and racoon on white card
with black ink, colour them and fussy-cut them out. Arrange
all the images as shown, using mounting tape for one tree
and the right-hand side of the racoon.
