- Do you ever lose your Mojo? How do you get it
back? I don’t think I’ve ever lost it really, sometimes life
gets too busy to craft so when I can get back to it I go
back to basics and create with the supplies I really love. - What’s your favourite colour combination?
Right now, turquoise, pink and white. - Which product/tool do you reach for the most?
Paper and a trimmer; and fl owers, lots of fl owers. - Do you create quickly or agonise over each
decision? I’m the biggest procrastinator on the
planet, seriously! I hate sticking things down,
especially when it comes to the fi nal embellishments
on a project; I want it all to be perfect. - Is there a particular theme or kind of card you
fi nd diffi cult to make? Defi nitely male-orientated
cards as I have such a feminine style! - What do you do with your leftover bits and
pieces? My scraps are stored by colour in a small set
of plastic draws. They are my fi rst stop when starting
anything new and I build from there. I also have a
small tray for leftover embellishments within reach
and I fi nd this helps me use these up, especially
when there is just one left of something. - Do you like to work alone or in a group
environment? (Do you listen to music, watch TV
or chat to friends and family?) I prefer to work
alone with the TV for company. - Do you attend classes, retreats or stamp club
events? I will usually take a class as part of a
papercrafting expo or local retreats that allow for day
visits. They are a great opportunity to meet other
cardmakers and learn new techniques. - Do you regularly shop for fresh supplies or reuse
what you have? I try really hard to mix my older
stash with new things. I usually buy only a quarter of
what I want and fi ll any gaps with stuff I have. - What’s the average amount of time you spend
at a papercraft store or on a website? Depends
on what I’m looking for but I do like to take my time;
I like to make sure I will use each item I choose and
that it fi ts with the supplies I already own. - Ever bought a product and never used it?
Oh yes, especially when I was new to papercrafting.
I’d like to think I take a little more care with my
choices these days!
19.Doyouhavea favourite technique/look/
compositionthatyou like to use often? I always love
a lineardesignformy cards. If I grab a stack of different
papersandlayerthem up I’m usually happy.
20.What’syourbesttip for fellow stampers? I prefer to
stampmyimagesonto coordinating paper and cut them
outratherthanstamping straight onto my card. I’m not
a superconfidentstamper, so if my image isn’t perfectly
crispI canhaveanother go and I haven’t ruined my card.
